"Next Level Community Festival"

We are taking Ministry to the next level in 2013!

Freedom for Living Ministries invites you to our "Next Level Community Festival" on June 29, 2013. It will begin promptly at noon and will last until 4:00 p.m. We are bringing the unifying power of the Kingdom of God to the community! We invite all churches and all families to join us as we evangelize! Free food, clothing giveaways, games, prizes, inflatable carnival rides, charity bike rides, silent auction, health screenings and talent showcases are all on tap as Freedom reintroduces itself to the community! We invite you to take the first step toward living the abundant life Jesus Christ died and rose to give you. We love you and we look forward to seeing you!

Graduation Salute

The graduate season of 2013 has arrived! Freedom for Living Ministries salutes our family members who are embarking on a wholly different journey into adulthood. You have worked hard and remained focused to reach this goal in life. Now know this is only preparation for the greater things to come. Life will present hardships and disappointments but our God is so much greater than either. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith, knowing that with Him you cannot fail!  The image below says it all. What God has begun in you, He will complete! Introducing Mr. Dylan Oliver!!!

My name is Dylan Oliver and I am three years old. I enjoy coming to Freedom for Living Ministries on Sunday mornings. I call it Pastor Blackwell's church and I always ask my mom and dad if that's the church we're going to every Sunday. I like to watch Josh play the drums and I like to hear the music Vincent plays on the keyboard. I like children's church because my sister Jada and I get to have fun learning about Jesus. Sometimes I help my dad hold the offering pan at the service. Everyone always smiles at me and sometimes I smile back:-). I like Freedom and I am glad my family came here to worship!

A Strong Woman vs.  A Woman of Strength

A strong woman
works out every day to keep her body in shape...
but

A woman of strength
kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape...

A strong woman
isn't afraid of anything...
of Strength
but

A woman of strength
shows courage in the midst of her fear...

A strong woman
won't let anyone get the best of her...
but

A woman of strength
gives the best of her to everyone...

A strong woman
makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future...

A woman of strength
realizes life's mistakes can also be God's blessings

and capitalizes on them...

A strong woman
walks sure footedly...
but

A woman of strength
knows God will catch her when she falls...

A strong woman
wears the look of confidence on her face...
but

A woman of strength
wears grace...

A strong woman
has faith that she is strong enough for the journey...
but

A woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong...

God took the fragrance of a flower...
The majesty of a tree...
The gentleness of morning dew...
The calm of a quiet sea...
The beauty of the twilight hour...
The soul of a starry night...
The laughter of a rippling brook...
The grace of a bird in flight...
Then God fashioned from these things
A creation like no other,
And when his masterpiece was through
He called it simply – Mother.
